Open Studios

Sadie Brockbank will be participating in the West Berkshire and North Hampshire Open Studios scheme this May.

Her work can be seen at The West Berkshire Museum's exhibition 'Hidden Ties' Weds 1st May - Sun 26th May on Weds to Sats 10 - 4 pm.

Sadie's studio, Mortimer Hill, Mortimer, RG7 3PW, will be open on the following dates: Thursday 16th May, Friday 17th May, Saturday 18th May and Sunday 19th May, 11 - 5. There will be a Private View with drinks on the evening of Thursday 16th May from 6 - 8. Annie Welch and Cathy Newell Price will also be exhibiting their work on these dates and on the Mortimer Hill site.

Workshops

Sadie will be running a two day workshop, 'Form and Finish' on Friday 1st February and Friday 15th February 2019 exploring the use of a paper pulp medium. Please click here for details.

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Sadie Brockbank has worked with various Schools in the Berkshire area on creative projects, including a “Tree of Life” collage with the children of Mortimer St Johns, and talks to both GCSE and A level students a the Maiden Earley School in Reading. She has also run a pair of workshops for adults with Kirsten Jones of Barn Acre Gallery: "Working with wax with a view to bronze casting".

July 2010 Produced a series of working drawings of horses for Steven Spielberg's film “Warhorse”
